IBM's WebSphere HotMedia is an authoring tool that makes possible the efficient creation of rich media
graphical objects for web sites. HotMedia is a set of tools for content creation and a set of Java applets that
allows end user interaction with rich-media graphic objects. HotMedia content can include multi-track
animations, panoramas, rotations, zooms, streaming audio synchronized with HTML, video, and 3-D. Hot links

needed. In this workshop, attendees will use HotMedia to create rich-media graphical content, will place content
in web pages, and will test results using browsers. Participants will learn advanced capabilities including
hyperlinking, animation, synchronizing audio with rich media and managing video. Upon completion, attendees
should be able to develop rich HotMedia objects and to incorporate them into web sites. Attendees will learn
