If you've seen a WebSphere Portlet Factory (WPF) demo, you know that creating portlets can be as simple as a few mouse clicks. But, is it really that easy all the time? Is there more that I need to know? This lab session will show you how to prepare for a WPF project so that you CAN create portlets as quickly as the demos. We'll walk through some sample portlets provided in WPF to understand what is available out of the box. Then we'll start from scratch so you can see how to build any additional artifacts that you may need for a WPF project.** The corresponding breakout session for this hands-on is "AD108Best Practices for Creating Portlets with IBM WebSphere Portlet Factory." Please refer to the Pocket Agenda for date, time and location information.
