Changes began in Lotus Domino 8 to drastically reduce resource consumption during production server processing. Differences in both the way Lotus Domino accomplishes operational execution and the object set used are considerable, and this session will provide a peek into what to expect in Lotus Domino 8 and future releases for advanced planning and preparation. The new Lotus Domino Application and Object Service (DAOS) feature, advances in I/O conservation, streaming replication, compression and cost of transaction logging will all be discussed in substantive detail. Expected resource consumption savings across all sizes of Lotus Domino deployments will be presented.
