J. Christopher Hawley; Corinne Ryan / 21.01.2007 18:30:00

With the next version of Lotus Notes (Lotus Notes 8) based on the Eclipse Rich Client Platform (RCP), a key benefit will be the ability to integrate custom developed Eclipse applications. Additions can be entire applications or new functionality to existing applications. This hands-on session will showcase developing a set of Eclipse plugins for a custom application to be integrated into Lotus Notes 8.From persisting data in a Domino database, exposing it through Web services to be consumed by the Eclipse application and by notes.jar, displaying the application in Lotus Notes 8, and testing the application's functionality with Rational Testing products will be covered.** The corresponding breakout session for this hands-on is "AD202Developing with the IBM Lotus Expeditor Toolkit for IBM Lotus Expeditor and IBM Lotus Notes 8." Please refer to the Pocket Agenda for date, time and location information.
