|Remote Debugging the Notes 8 Client|
You can debug your Eclipse Java code remotely using the remote debugging techniques Eclipse provides. The first thing you have to do is add the following parameters to your launch application for the virtual machine:
-vmargs -Xdebug -Xnoagent -Djava.compiler=NONE -Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,server=y,suspend=n,address=8020
The important part is the socket number you choose (in this case I am using socket 8020). You then create a remote application debug/runtime configuration and specify the same port. This will allow you to put break points in your extensions or views to debug them.
