Ken Bisconti is vice president of Messaging Products for Lotus software, responsible for IBMs messaging software business -- including Notes, Domino, iNotes, the Lotus mobile and wireless product offerings and Lotus nextgen messaging solutions such as the new Lotus Workplace Messaging offering available in Q2 2003. Ken is also coordinating client strategy messages across Lotus, Pervasive and WebSphere Portal teams and developing the cross-Software Group story for client offerings. Ken is Lotus partner relationship executive for HP and Microsoft.

Ken leads a marketing management team that defines and offers Lotus-based solutions for customers based on core capabilities in messaging and collaboration. Ken oversees strategy, market management and planning for Lotus messaging products and solutions.

Since joining Lotus in January 1994, Ken has served in a variety of positions, including vice president of marketing for messaging and collaboration solutions and vice president of product marketing for the entire Lotus product portfolio. Prior to that he served as senior director of communications product marketing, for Lotus Notes, Lotus Domino and other communications products. Ken has also held roles in competitive strategy, Lotus Notes product marketing, and channel sales.

Prior to Lotus, Ken was an IT architect with the IBM Consulting Group where he designed groupware implementation plans and developed Lotus Notes-based applications for large enterprises.

Ken holds a bachelors degree in quantitative economics and decision sciences from the University of California at San Diego.
