Building Composite Applications for IBM Lotus Notes 8, IBM WebSphere Portal and Mobile Audiences
Bill McNaughton / 23.01.2008 17:15:00
The most exciting new application development capability in Lotus Notes 8 is probably Composite Applications - allowing you to assemble components which interact and can be developed in different technologies like Eclipse Viewparts and Portlets. You can extend these applications to a wider audience beyond Lotus Notes client users by hosting composite application definitions on WebSphere Portal. The same underlying IBM Lotus Expeditor framework that Lotus Notes 8 is built on can even push these applications to mobile devices. We'll show examples of integrated composite applications that run across all of these platforms and explain the benefits to your development team and user community.
