Working Without Wireless: Enabling the Mobile Worker
There were 108 million mobile workers in 2002, 25% of the total work-force, and those employees can only stay responsive, effective and productive if they have access to the applications and data they need when they are away from their desks. This session looks at the practical details of application design for the mobile worker, and considers how wireless technologies are evolving to allow us to deliver the deployable, scalable, usable solutions the market needs.
